No More Flaky-Cakey Foundation!
Many of you have been complaining excessively about foundations that look dry, cakey or even flakey throughout the day. There are so many reasons why this happens and here are some of them:
1) Wrong foundation for your skin type:
Before buying your foundation, you have to know what your skin type is. If your skin type is dry, then avoid by all means any foundation that says matte, dry-finish, dry-touch or even oil-free. This will dry your skin further causing the foundation to create cracks.

2) You don't prepare your skin well:
Great makeup is all about great skin prepping. By prepping I mean wash, tone and really moisturize. This makes the foundation much more smoother and way more easily blendable on your face.

3) You Apply Too Much:
All you need for your face is a pea-sized amount and if you need more then another pea-size is sufficient. Do not excessively pump from the bottle. This makes your foundation look horrible, not blendable and pore-clogging. Not to mention, extreme waste of product!

4) Your skin needs to be exfoliated:
Make sure you exfoliate twice a week to remove dead skin and built-up of debris. This way you create a clean canvas for the foundation to land on.

5) A wet sponge does the trick:
If you apply the foundation with a damp sponge or beauty blender, you get an amazing glowy effect. Try it!
